JUNIPER JACK X KARIM GUEST NEW YORK

ROSEMARY INFUSED CAMOUFLAGE GIN NO.1

Karim Guest fondly recalls the line from My Fair Lady (1964) : “Gin was mother's milk…” (01:29:48)

His mother would drink gin tonics and there was always a selection of different gins at their house. It was through this spirit’s familiar flavor and scent that he took his first sips of alcohol. He has since tried all kinds of gin, and cocktails with gin, from around the world. In summer, he enjoys a good gin tonic, but in winter, a gin martini will always be his first choice – very, very dry, straight up, with a twist.

Occasionally, he likes it dirty too.

Two years ago, the distinctive taste of a gin from Juniper Jack stuck with him. It made such an impression that his CEO, Anton Schumann, arranged a meeting for him with Jörg Fiedler, the founder of the small deluxe distillery close to Meissen that produces this totally organic gin.

The two hit it off right away. Both uphold uncompromising standards of quality, sustainability, luxury, and - most importantly - gin. Through this collaboration, the first JUNIPER JACK x KARIM GUEST NEW YORK GIN was developed over 15 months.

IT HAS BECOME THE TASTE THAT INSPIRED A COLLABORATION.

ZIPPED INTO ITS OWN SIGNATURE KARIM GUEST NEW YORK SLEEVE, MADE FROM AUSTRALIAN SUPERGEELONG WOOL - THIS IS TRULY BESPOKE LUXURY IN A BOTTLE.

Deciding on a rosemary-infused gin for this collaboration was a decision made easily. Not only does Karim incorporate rosemary into his diet for health benefits, he also enjoys the taste, and wanted his gin to be based on a cocktail he had once in East Hampton.

It has become the taste that inspired a collaboration.

“It is fantastic in a gin tonic, as a gin martini, on the rocks, or straight up. The fashion designer in me added a camouflage sleeve based on one of my signature menswear patterns made out of Australian supergeelong wool, ” says Karim.

As a sustainable eco gin, made by hand, great attention was paid to each detail. The bottle itself was made of Vinolok, a form of Bohemian glass, known to be dense and completely tasteless. Inside it, the liquid remains clean and completely uninfluenced.

The exterior of the bottle is zipped into its own signature Karim Guest New York sleeve, made from Australian supergeelong wool - truly bespoke luxury in a bottle. Each drop of the 700ml, 46,5% Vol. Gin contained in each of the limited-bach’s 111 bottles ensures that this is a gin completely handmade in Germany.

IT IS THE IDEAL DRINK FOR EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO JUST SINK AWAY AFTER WORK - BUT ALSO HAS AMBITION.

Tickling the taste buds of its lovers, honest and complex in taste, this gin remains intense in aroma. The ethereal components are optimally dissolved, unfolding as the drops dance over the tongue, transforming the taste into liquid art. It is the ideal drink for everyone who does not want to just sink away after work - but also has ambition.

SIMPLY PUT, IT INSPIRES.

Sold out within one hour of launching online, the Rosemary Infused, Camouflage Gin No. 1 by Juniper Jack and Karim Guest New York has become an overnight collector’s piece, sought out by high-end gin collectors the world over.
